Good morning good morning good morning all God’s children. . .

Posted by thesinger on August 10, 2008

Welcome to Adventures in Odyssey! I’m lovin’ it! Just do it! It just tastes better! Always low prices! Think outside the bun!

Anyway, enough foolishness. This is thesinger signing in to report on my life as it now stands, or sits, as the case may be.

The wedding music came together excellently for the most part. It was delightful to sing at a wedding where you knew that the groom was totally enthused about high quality choral music. (Oh, but he also liked some sappy love songs too =( ) For the information of those not present, we sang a lot of music. Namely, we sang three songs in the prelude, one processional, one song before the vows, one recessional, and seven songs in the postlude. Yes, it seemed like a full blown concert. Ach vell, it was fun, so? why not?

At work right now, we are going through an intense time of preparation for our annual fall Seed Sales Kick-off Meeting which will take place this next Tues. evening, Lord willing. The evening itself is a fun time of eating good food, lots of car parking, balloons, speakers, etc., but the clean-up work that must take place is boring at its best; painful at its worst. Life will go on.

Thanks to the ones who participated in the opinion poll. The results are very helpful, but I’m not sure how. Thanks.

It’s with much anticipation of an exciting week that I sign off.

Allow me to remain,

Faithfully yours,

thesinger

Well Cathy, it seems to me as though I shot absolutely zero images at Shanes’ wedding. I believe my thoughts were primarily turned towards other endeavors. . . sorry you had to miss the music. . .
